Startupbootcamp NFC & Contactless Interactions Program 2013
January 17th was Investor Demo Day for Startupbootcamp’s NFC & Contactless Class from Amsterdam. After a 100-day inspiring, amazing and euphoric roller-coaster ride, last Friday the intense journey ended with a spectacular day @ the ABN AMRO HQ. The selected companies showcased their ambition to change the world, their brilliant inventions and world-class teams for an audience of 350 investors.
The past 3 months they have been working incredibly hard with one goal in mind: achieve more for their business during the program, than they could ever do on their own in a year. And we think they did. In fact, from a business traction and funding point of view this was Startupbootcamp’s best program so far. My role in this Startupbootcamp Amsterdam Program was the of Operations Manager. I was the spider in the web for all operations of the 3-month program, heading a team of 4 on design, marketing, facilities and operations, coordinating a large number of bigger and smaller events (Demo Day being the top-tier event of the startup scene in Amsterdam), coaching 11 startups, being first point of contact for our 300+ mentor network, press and our board, reporting directly to the co-founders of Startupbootcamp.
